1.First wash methi seeds with clean water and soak them for 8-10 hours.
2. After that, strain water completely.
3. Now to make sprouts we can use two ways. One with using a sprouts maker and another with a wet cloth.
Method 1: Methi Sprouts With a Sprouts Maker
- Transfer half of the soaked methi seeds in a sprout maker and spread it in a layer. Cover and keep it at a warm place for about 24-36 hours depends on the weather conditions. In summers the germination or sprouting process is fast while in winters it takes little more time.
Method 2: Methi Sprouts Without a Sprouts Maker(Using a Wet Cotton Cloth)
1.Wet a thin cotton cloth and squeeze is nicely. Now transfer the remaining soaked methi seeds on this wet cloth and close the ends. Put it in a bowl and cover it.
2. Put the bowl at a warm place for about 24-36 hours depends on the weather conditions.
3.Check them once after 24 hours, if not done leave them for another 4-5 hours and check.
4.Once the methi dana OR fenugreek seeds are germinated well, don’t wash them at this stage. Transfer them to an air tight container and keep them refrigerated till required.
5. Whenever you want to consume them, take out from the refrigerator and wash them well and only then consume.
