Mint masala lassi recipe is quick and easy to make and requires only a few ingredients. Curd and mint both gives a cooling effect to our body and a great drink for a summer afternoon. Mint also have anti-inflammatory properties that help in reducing inflammation and stomach cleanse.

Chilled water or ice – If you prefer just a cool level used chilled water for extra chilled lassi add crushed ice instead.
White salt – gives a savoury flavour.

Roasted cumin seeds powder – to enhance flavour and improves digestion.

Step by step preparation on mint masala lassi
- In a pitcher or jug add curd, whisk it well with the help of a whisk or hand blender. Once the curd becomes smooth, add white salt, black salt, black pepper powder, roasted cumin seeds powder, red chilli powder and dry mint leaves, mix well.
2. Finally, add chilled water and whisk again for 1 minute to blend everything well together.
3. Pour in the glasses and decorate with some fresh mint leaves and serve immediately.
Serving suggestion
Lassi is a great combination for any Indian meal during summer. It can be paired with paratha, chapatti and dry veg or even with veg pulao or khichdi.
Tips and tricks
- Use fresh curd that is not sour in taste.
- I have used the hand whisker but you can also make it in a blender if you want.
- You can also add some besan boondi for making it more attractive.
- If you do not have dried mint leaves in hand use fresh leaves, grind them in little water then add curd and follow other steps.
- You can adjust the salt quantity according to your taste or omit it completely if you have any health issues like high blood pressure.
- If preparing for little kids do not add red chilli powder in it.
- You can prepare it beforehand and keep it refrigerated till required. But don’t add salt to it. Salt should be added just before serving otherwise it makes the sour taste.
