We can make peanut chaat in many ways, this is the quickest, simple and easy one. The peanut chaat or salad recipe is high in protein and very filling. A perfect recipe to enjoy as an evening snack or at any time when you feel hungry.

As we are making this snack recipe for vrat or fasting time so will not add onion and garlic to it. To make it colourful and enjoyable we have added a few veggies that are allowed to eat during fasting.

 If you are making it for normal days you can add onion too.

Boiled Peanut Salad Reciep Ingredients

Peanut- is the star ingredient of the recipe. We have used raw peanuts here, don’t need to roast them as we will boil them to make them soft and digestible.

Veggies– as we are making it for vrat adding veggies is only allowed during fasting. Boiled potato, tomato, and cucumber are added to make it more filling and add colours to it.

Spices– addition of Cumin seeds powder, black pepper powder, green chillies, and rock salt enhances flavour and taste.

Lemon juice- make it a juicy and sour taste.

Boiled Peanut Salad Recipe-Step by Step Preparation

Boiling and chopping of veggies

1.First soak raw peanut for 3-4 hours. After that, wash them once and transfer to a pressure cooker, add water and pressure cook it for 6-7 whistles.

2. Once the pressure is released, strain water from peanuts and keep them aside.

3. Now chop tomato, cucumber, and boiled potato and keep them aside.

4. In a grinder jar add green coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilli, ginger, rock salt, cumin seeds, lemon juice and 1 tbsp chilled water. Grind them to make a smooth paste. Keep it aside.

Preparation of boiled peanut salad

  1. Now in a bowl take half of the boiled peanuts, add chopped tomatoes, potato, and cucumber.

2. Then sprinkle salt, cumin seeds powder, black pepper powder, chaat masala, and lemon juice.

3. Mix them well together. Transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish with 2 tbsp pomegranate and fresh coriander leaves. Serve immediately.

Preparation of boiled peanut Chaat

  1. Now in the rest of the boiled peanuts add chopped tomatoes, potato, and cucumber.

2. Then add 2-3 tbsp of green chutney we have prepared.

3. Mix them well together. Transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish with 2 tbsp pomegranate and fresh coriander leaves. Serve immediately.
