Soya granules cutlet or soya burger patties are made with Nutrela soya granules, fresh veggies and few spices. Then stuffed in a whole wheat burger bun to make it a healthy and nutritious meal.
Wash and soak soya granules in hot water for about 30-40 minutes. After 30 minutes, squeeze out the excess water from the granules and put them aside.
Finely chop carrots, beans and onion. Keep them aside.
Now in a pan, add ½ tbsp oil, chopped onion, green chilli, ginger-garlic paste and sauté them for few seconds. Add chopped carrots and beans. Then salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, and garam masala. Sauté them for about 1-2 minutes.
Then add squeezed soya granules and cook it for 1-2 minutes.
Finally, add boiled and mashed potatoes, green coriander leaves and dry mango powder and mix well. Switch off the flame and let it cool for a little bit.
Make patties out of this mixture.
Now heat an iron griddle on a low medium flame. Pour 1/2 tablespoon oil. Place patties on this hot griddle and shallow fry them from both sides. Sprinkle few drops of oil in between to avoid sticking.
Once done, transfer to a plate and keep it aside.
How to make burger with soya patties
Take a homemade whole wheat burger bun, cut into half. Now lightly roast it on the griddle.
On bottom part apply green chutney, place soya pattie then slices of onion, cucumber and tomato.
Pour some mayonnaise and cover with other half
Enjoy healthy burger with some tomato ketchup.

1. Soaking of soya granules is important to make them soft as well as easily digestible.2. You can also deep fry the patties if you want but the calories increases.3. If corn flakes is not available can use bread crumbs, oats flake, poha etc.4. You can add veggies of your choice in the patties as well as in the burger.
