In a sauce pan add 2 cup milk, keep ¼ cup milk in abowl.
Once a boil came add sugar and mix till it dissolves.
Add custard powder in the leftover milk and dissolve till the mxture become smooth and lumps free.
Now add this mixture gradually to the boiling milk and stir constinuously till the mixture become thick.
Check the spoon if the mixture coats it then switch off the flame.
Let it cool down completely.
A layer will come on the surface , mix well with spoon or with the help of a whisk. Also you can churn it in a mixer grinder just for few seconds. Transfer it in to a bowl and put it in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours or overnight.
When ready to serve finely chop apple, mango and grapes . Keep them aside.
Take out the custard mixture from refrigerator and transfer in a wide bowl. Add fruits except pomegranate. Mix them well. Now garnish with pomegranate seeds, black currant and almonds flake. Serve chilled and enjoy.
Notes
1. Always dissolve custard powder in the cold or room temperature milk then add to the boiled milk otherwise if we add directly into the boiling milk it coagulates and form lumps.2. When we add the custard mixture to the boiling milk stir continuously otherwise it will stick to bottom and burn easily.3. Refrigerator of custard sauce for few hours to make it chilled is very important before adding the fruit in it.4. Add finely chopped fruit, they well nicely mix and coats with custard.5. To make it vegan can use coconut milk or almond milk6. Do not use citrus fruits as they are not a milk compatible and will upset your stomach
