To make these delicious and nourishing milkshakes we used fresh homemade Muskmelon Seeds Milk. Muskmelon, Kharbooja or cantaloupe is a sweet, fleshy and low calories summer time fruit. They have a mild sweet taste and has a lot of water content that helps in replenishing fluids in our body during hot summer days.

Not only fruit part of the melon but the seeds are also very nutritious and used in many ways. We can use seeds to make milk and use it in making soups, curries, or even desserts. Also, these seeds are low in carbs and calories while high in nutrition.

Ingredients Required for Making Dairy free Chocolate Milkshake

  • Non-dairy whipping cream(Room Temperature)
  • Dark chocolate
  • Melon seeds milk
  • Honey
  • Dark chocolate chips for garnishing(optional)

We need non-dairy milk, whipping cream, chocolate and honey to make this very flavourful chocolate milk shake. Chocolate is favorite to every kid and it would be a great treat for them as it is healthy as well as delicious.

To make chocolate milkshake I have used dark chocolate (70%) to give it a real chocolate taste. You can also replace it with sweetened or unsweetened cocoa powder. As, I am making these milk shakes dairy-free so small quantity of non-dairy whipping cream is used to give a creamy texture to the milkshake.

Non dairy whipping cream is pre sweetened so that we have added only a small amount of honey to the shakes. If you are using fresh dairy cream adjust the sweetness according to your taste. Dark chocolate can also be replaced with semi-sweet chocolate as per your taste.

Step by Step Preparation of Chocolate Milkshake (Dairy-free)

1.In a bowl take room temperature non dairy whipping cream. Add chopped dark chocolate. Microwave it for 15-20 minutes and mix well till it becomes a smooth and creamy mixture.Let it cool completely.

2. In a blender, add fresh melon seeds milk, cooled mixture of non dairy whipping cream and chocolate , and honey. blend it for 1 minute at high speed.

3. Add some ice cubes in the serving glass. Transfer to the serving glass. Garnish with dry rose petal and chopped pista.

4. Serve chilled and ENJOY!

  • Rose syrup
  • Melon seeds milk
  • Dry rose petals for garnishing(optional)

Dairy-free Rose milkshake is a delicious and creamy milkshake recipe made with fresh melon seeds milk, and rose syrup.  It is an easy refreshing summer drink recipe that is enjoyed both by kids as well as adults. Let’s see how we can make this flavourful drink at home.

To make this rose milkshake, I have used rose syrup. It can be easily replaced with rooh-afza if rose syrup is not available. No need of adding any sweetener in it as rose syrup is already sweetened. The addition of frozen non-dairy whipping cream add the more creaminess in the milkshake. If you not making it Vegan or dairy-free non-dairy cream can also be replaced with fresh cream.

To enhance the flavour of rose milk shake add some Gulkand or rose essence and garnish with some dry rose petals and pista. That gives it a rich look but these are totally optional.

1.In a blender, add chilled fresh melon seeds milk, non dairy whipping cream, and rose syrup. blend it for few seconds at high speed.

2. Add some ice cubes in the serving glass. Transfer the milk shake to the serving glass. Garnish with dry rose petal and chopped pista. Its totally optional.

3. Serve chilled and ENJOY!
