ThisVrat SpecialApple Makhana Smoothie is a High Protein Sugar Freedelicious drink recipe, which you can enjoy as a quick breakfast or as an evening time drink. Made with the goodness of milk, apple, phool makhana, dates and peanut butter it is a perfect healthy drink for fasting time.
In a bowl soak 2 tsp chia seeds in ¼ cup of water for 1-2 hours.
Dry roast the makhanas for 5-8 minutes on low flame and let them cool completely.
Wash. Peel, and chop apple into small equal size slices. Keep them aside.
Now in a blender add milk, chopped apple, roasted makhana, dates, cinnamon powder, and peanut butter. Churn it into a smooth thick mixture.
Pour it into a serving glass. Garnish with soaked chia seeds and serve immediately. Enjoy this healthy and filling smoothie.

1. Peel the apple otherwise its skin will not grind properly.2. Serve it immediately, don’t leave it long once prepared.3. For a Vegan version you can use soy milk, almond milk, oats milk or any other dairy free milk of your choice.4. You can also add other some seeds and nuts of your choice to make it more tempting and nourishing.
