Cheese flavoured whole wheat baked sticks are a tasty and healthy savoury snack recipe made with whole wheat flour, cheese, coconut oil, milk, pizza sauce, and some herbs that give it a perfect cheese pizza flavour.
In a bowl combine whole wheat flour, salt, red chilli flakes, powdered sugar, grated cheese, pizza sauce, and coconut oil. Mix it gently till it becomes bread crumbs like texture.
Now add cold milk a few tablespoons at a time and make a tight dough. Cover the dough and refrigerate it for 30-40 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven at 160 degrees Celsius for 12-15 minutes.
Take out the dough from the refrigerator and make balls out of it.
Place one ball at the rolling board, cover with a cling film and roll into a ¼ cm thick circle.
Make a rectangle or square and cut out the extra part of the dough. Prick it with a fork and cut it into 4-5 inches strips.
Place the strips on the baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake them in the preheated oven for 13-15 minutes.
Take them out from the oven and let them cool completely on a wire rack.
Store them in an airtight container and enjoy with tea or coffee as an evening snack.
