How To Make Praline | Almond Praline Recipe With Jaggery

Almond jaggery praline is made with only 2 ingredients almonds and jaggery. It is an easy and quick praline recipe that takes much lesser time than made with sugar. Also, it is healthier than praline made with sugar.
Put a frying pan on low heat. Add crushed jaggery, stir it till it strats melting. Now add 1 tbsp water and cook till it melts completely and become thick and frothy. Then add whole almonds and mix well.
Immediately transfer this mixture to a greased plate. Let it cool completely.
Once cooled down then crush it in a pestle motor to make a coarse powder.
Store it in an air tight container at a dry and cool place.

1. Use good quality jaggery to get the best texture of praline.2. Always keep an eye on the pan as jaggery crystallizes faster and becomes hard and difficult to handle then.3. Pre-roasting of almonds is not necessary as they will roast in the heat of melted jaggery.4. Cool the mixture completely before crushing it.5. Store in an airtight container to avoid any moisture.
