Indian Style Mexican Spicy Salsa Dip / Homemade Fresh Tomato Salsa - Enjoy this delicious sugar and oil-free dip with corn chips, tortillas or any other of your favourite chips.
Firstly, roughly chop tomatoes, onion, pepper, and coriander leaves. Collect in a bowl.
Now transfer them into a mixer grinder, add salt, cumin seeds powder, black pepper powder and lemon juice.
Grind it up to 2-3 pulse. It should be a coarse mixture, not a fine paste.
Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy.
It should be consumed immediately. Can't be stored for a longer time.
Notes
1. Use well ripen, nice red colour tomatoes give a nice colour and juicy texture to the sauce. I have used Bombay tomatoes, while in the Mexican recipe, they use Roma tomatoes.2. I have added green coriander leaves as a herb but can replace it with other herbs like parsley, mint, oregano and basil as per your taste.3. Do not grind it to a fine paste, it tastes better when it is a little coarse and chunky.
