Discover the joy of wholesome snacking with our Millet Cookies Recipe! These Jowar Coconut Cookies are not just delicious but also egg and gluten-free, making them a guilt-free treat for everyone to enjoy.
In a bowl, add unsalted butter, whisk it well till it becomes light.
Add powdered sugar gradually and cream with butter till the mixture become light and fluffy. It will take 2-3 minutes.
Put a sieve and sift jowar flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Add coconut powder and cornflour, mix well.
Now add 1 tbsp of milk and make a soft dough.
Cover the dough and put it in the refrigerator for about half an hour.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven at 160 degrees Celsius for about 10-15 minutes.
Take out the dough from the refrigerator. Make small equal size balls with hand or using one tbsp measuring spoon. Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Now roll one side of each ball in sesame seeds and arrange them on the baking tray.
Bake them for 15-16 minutes in the preheated oven.
Remove the cookies from the oven and transfer them to a wire rack.
Let them cool completely and store in an airtight container.
