Jowar Oats Choco Chip Cookies | Eggless Sorghum Millet Recipes For Weight Loss

These egg free jowar oats choco chip cookies are easy to make refined sugar free healthy cookies. These jowar oatmeal cookies are made with quick oats, jowar (sorghum flour), khandsari sugar, jaggery powder and homemade unsalted butter. Without any chemical & preservative, with the goodness of millets these cookies are very tempting.
Preheat oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 13-15 minutes.
In a bowl add soft butter and beat it for 1-2 minutes. Now add both sugar and beat them till sugar melts and the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
Add vanilla essence and mix well for few seconds. Then add baking powder and baking soda and mix well with the mixture for few seconds.
Now add oats, jowar flour, cornflour, salt and mix with spatula to form a stick dough.
Place the dough in the refrigerator or 30-45 minutes.
Now with the help of a measuring spoon scoop out the dough and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake the cookies for 15-17 minutes at 180 degrees. Take out from the oven and let them cool completely on a cooling rack.
Store them in an air tight container at room temperature.

1. All the ingredients should be at the room temperature.2. I have use khandsari sugar and jaggery powder as a sweetener. You can also try with palm sugar, coconut sugar or even with sugar free if baking for a diabetic person.3. Refrigerate the dough for at least half an hour gives a nice even spreading of the cookies.4. Always preheat oven for 10-15 minutes before start baking.5. Cool the cookies completely before storing.
