Make soft and delicious Meetha Cheela with atta and gud in just 10 minutes. This healthy Indian sweet breakfast recipe is easy, comforting, and naturally sweetened.
Dissolve jaggery in warm water and strain if needed to remove impurities.
Step 2: Make the Batter
In a mixing bowl, combine atta, sooji, fennel seeds, cardamom powder, and black pepper powder. Add jaggery syrup and milk gradually to make a smooth flowing batter.
Step 3: Rest the Batter
Allow the batter to rest for 5–10 minutes so the sooji absorbs moisture properly.
Step 4: Cook the Cheela
Heat a pan and lightly grease it with oil or ghee. Pour a ladleful of batter and spread gently like a pancake.
Cook on medium flame until golden brown from both sides.
Step 5: Serve Hot
Serve warm with ghee, pickle, honey, or masala chai.
