Mix the Wet Ingredients:
In a mixing bowl, combine the orange juice, desi khand, oil, orange zest, orange essence, and orange color.
Whisk the mixture until the khand is completely dissolved.
Put a sieve on the bowl. Sift together the whole wheat flour, custard powder, milk powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Ensure thorough mixing to avoid lumps.
Gently mix dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
Mix until just combined; avoid over mixing, which can result in a dense cake.
Add warm water t adjust the consistency of the batter. Batter should be medium thick.
Pour the vinegar into the batter and gently fold it in. This reaction will aid in the rising process
Baking Time:
Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin.
Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Once baked, cover the cake and allow the cake to cool in the tin for a few minutes.
