Jaggery tea recipe is a quick, healthy and aromatic, hot beverage made with only 4 ingredients - tea leaves, ginger, jaggery and low-fat milk. It gives you a refreshing taste of jaggery and an aromatic flavour of ginger. Ginger jaggery tea is one of the healthy chai recipes that you should try.

tea leaves – 1 tsp
Milk – ½ cup (boiled and cold)
Instructions
In a sauce pan add water. Add 1 tsp tea leaves, 1 tsp washed and grate ginger, and 15 gm jaggery or gud. Boil it for 2-3 minutes on a low flame.
Then add boiled and chilled milk, mix well.
Now wait till a boil comes. Switch off the flame and strain the tea.
Pour the tea into cup and serve hot with your favourite cookies.

1. First, boil very well tea leaves, ginger and jaggery. 2. Use boiled and chilled milk to add in the tea. 3. After adding milk just boil for few seconds only. 4. For getting the most health benefits serve it hot.
