2. Now start boiling the milk on medium flame. Once it starts boiling, lower the flame to simmer setting and cook for for 4-5 minutes. Then switch off the flame and close the lid of the pan for 2-3 minutes and put aside. 

3.After that, strain the milk with the help of a strainer. Now pour the milk into the glasses and serve hot.

  • 2 cup Milk- 500ml
  • 2 tbsp Raw turmeric (grated)

1.Full-fat milk is used traditionally but to reduce the calories, its preferred to use toned or cow milk.
2. Raw turmeric recommended, but if it is not available, replace it with good quality dry powdered turmeric.
3. To make it vegan friendly, replace regular milk with anyone from coconut, soy, nuts milk.
4. Ginger root can be added to enhance the taste and effectiveness.
